Silicone Rubber Heaters

Fibreglass-reinforced silicone rubber heaters, wire-wound or etched foil, for battery packs, pipes, drums, plates and enclosures. Thin, conformable, and the workhorse construction from -50 °C to +200 °C continuous.

Polyimide (PI) Film Heaters

Etched-foil polyimide film heaters 0.2 to 0.4 mm thick, to 200 °C continuous. The thinnest and fastest-responding flexible construction, for medical devices, optics, batteries and instruments where the heater must disappear into the assembly.

Thick Film Heaters

Resistor and dielectric pastes fired directly onto stainless steel, alumina or aluminium. High watt density, very low thermal mass and a heated surface with no separate element to fail — the construction for instant water heating, medical fluid warming and precision plates.

PTC Heaters

Self-regulating barium titanate ceramic elements and the aluminium assemblies built around them. A PTC heater cannot exceed its Curie point no matter what the control does, which is why it is specified where a runaway is unacceptable.

Epoxy Heating Plates

Resistance element encapsulated in filled epoxy on an aluminium or steel plate. A rigid, flat, thermally-bonded heater for battery modules, platens and plating tanks where a flexible heater cannot hold its shape.

PET Film Heaters

Printed carbon or silver ink on PET film: the lowest-cost thin heater, to 120 °C. Seat heating, mirror demisting, display and battery pre-heating — high volume, low watt density, formed in a roll-to-roll process.

Temperature Sensing & Control

The half of a heating system that decides whether the heater survives: bimetal thermostats, NTC thermistors, RTDs and thermocouples, thermal cutoffs, and the controllers that read them.
